Good morning, Rusty!
Whew ! it is very hot out!
The supposedly 'brisk' walk was merely a crawl!
I have all the windows wide open throughout the house, and the fan on here in the lounge!
It is 22C at present, but said to hit 28C later.
Too much for me!
I am about to hang the washing out...then it's a quiet sit down with the crossword!

Quite cool earlier.

Good Morning Elle and Rusty!

Sorry about long silence but I was taken back to hospital 10 days ago -
The pain was so severe that it was even attacking my chest. (which worried me!)
Blood test showed a 'little something' not quite right with my heart,
which could explain for the few seconds unaccounted for during
the fall -
After ECGs every day and many blood tests, this 'little anomaly'
never occured again - thus remains unexplained. It may be a one
off which will never happen again ?
The pain is somewhat less severe now and I have proper medication
including a morphin patch.
They said it would take a long time before I stopped aching!
But there was not much more they could do in hospital so I came
home yesterday afternoon.

How are you?

Good morning, Pigale!
Great to hear from you!
That is a most unsettling time you had.
You may get on best now you are home.
Let us hope your "anomaly" was a "one-off".
I am sure the medical folk will keep a watchful eye on you!
I am fine.
Elle has a sore toe!

Good to hear that you are recovering, pigale. Let's hope there are no more "anomalies".

Hi, Rusty!
I am struggling somewhat with the 15 x15 this week.......in fact, I have given up for now and put it to one side.
I have completed the Jumbo GK - no surprises there.
On the way back from the park this morning, we bought plants for the crematorium. Not only is it Fathers' day tomorrow , it is also my parents' Wedding Anniversary, so we shall have plenty of foliage to take to the Crematorium in the morning.
Btw, as you missed the Oslo DL, did you realise that the Highlights are showing on BBC1 at 1.20pm today?
If you can tear yourself away from the golf?!

Hello, Pigale!
Great to hear from you!
We were getting worried by your silence!
Was the blip with your heart the reason why you fell?
The medics seem to have looked after you well, and been very thorough in their investigation of your health problems.
I hope all will be well with you now, and you will go from strength to strength!
Take things easy!

Hello, Elle.
Best to forget the puzzle for a while.
Go back to it with a refreshed brain.
I have finished though there is one parse I just cannot nail!
I shall get there eventually though!
My TV is off until the golf starts.
And I have a prog recorded about the Atlantic to watch.
They are getting a fine day for the agricultural show.
They always do, funnily enough!

ChrisE, Elle and Rusty, thanks for your good wishes.

It certainly feels good to be home but I don't seem to be able to do
much apart from spending a short time at the computer,
watching DVDs and resting on my bed !!!!!

I reckon the pain and the tablets make me sleepy!

Hope you all enjoy the week-end ; glorious day here.

Who won the Criterium Rusty?

Hello, Pigale!
The Criterium was won by Jakob Fuglsang of Astana.
He rode very well!
Second was Richie Porte of BMC Racing.
Third was Dan Martin of Quick-Step.
