1D: I have D?W?town for that - decided it must be 'downtown'? haven't parsed that yet though. Is it correct?

Yes Elle, but not sure where Bangor fits in to downtown, but then I can't see boomtown either!

Bangor is in County Down, and downtown is a business centre

Did you get the D and the W for the across answers? if you got those too, then we must be right with 'downtown', even if we can't see why!
