Good day, Elle!
I am just tickety-boo, thank you!
Just home from a dander. Was trying out my new walking shoes (bought last November!).
Earlier had CD's on, (Emmylou Harris, Rondo Veneziano, and Pete Seeger). Going to watch Tour of Spain now,
How are you and brand new Chambers getting on?
Fine day up here. Hope it is the same with you!

Lovely day here too...blue skies and sunny; warm. enough to be out just in jeans and T-shirt.
We've been out for a long walk this morning - went over the fields today (to the woods yesterday).
Called at our daughter's on the way home to feed the livestock (two guinea pigs!) as they are away for the weekend.
Now watching the Athletics British Grand Prix in Birmingham! - what happened to your allegiance?! (watching cycling instead!!)

I like athletics, Elle, but my two very favourite sports are cycling and top class horse racing. I like Alpine skiing, too, and golf.
Often great scenery during the cycling.
I remember being amazed at Mont St Michel when I first saw it during the Le Tour.
Like something out of Disney!
Your day seems to be going very well!

Just joking, Rusty! Enjoy!
I like Athletics best, but, as I'm a keen tennis player, I also like watching the tennis.
Yes, having a good day......I've even managed to nearly finish the Times Jumbo Cryptic! (did the Gen. Knowledge one yesterday) - only THREE clues to go........but admit to having great trouble so far with those.... still, not asking for help just yet......

Very good, Elle!
Keep at at, a light will switch on in your head!
I dont do the Jumbo nowadays.
I give it to my next door neighbour.
I think Jazzgirl does it, so, if need be, I am sure she shall help.
It is a lovely evening here. Think I shall go for a wee stroll!

Oh no, Elle; no problem with blisters!
These are trail shoes, or approach shoes. Made of a fabric. You can wear them straight from the box.
I stopped wearing leather walking shoes/boots years ago.
I find these much better!

Did you go for your walk? Where did you venture?
I've heard about those walking shoes, although haven't got a pair.
Mine are Nubuck and are extremely comfortable. The soles are very ridged and very hard wearing - will grip on really treacherous surfaces ( hope those aren't famous last words!).
Unfortunately, tho, the uppers on mine are wearing out and I'm getting somewhat poggy feet if the ground is very wet!
I need to get some more walking boots before we go on holiday and before winter.

Yes, I went around the Nature Trail. A lot of hilly bits.
Dundee is built on an extinct (we hope!) volcano, so there are hills everywhere!
Your boots sound first class, Elle!
Would a word with your local cobbler be any good?
They may be repairable?
No harm in asking for advice!
