Sorry, I got caught up with phone calls and also finishing the crossword. Yes, I DID finally do it!! although the last clue gave me problems until I realised the answer was in Latin.
(I think my boots have just had their day - I shall have to look around for another pair)
A busy day tomorrow - out early with the dog for a couple of hours, then family arriving for the day. May not get chance to look in on Forum until later in the day.

One of my granddaughters and me are going to visit my old mother-in-law. She is 98. I have been very happily divorced for 30 years but Mum-in-law and me get on very well and I visit her regularly.

I've only just read your last message, must have gone to bed before you sent it , and I never got the chance at all to get on the computer yesterday as we had such a hectic day!
Very wet walk with the dog in the morning - cagoule and wellies!
Then our younger daughter, her husband and our youngest grandson came to visit. He's 2 and an absolute darling, albeit mischievous to boot!
How did your day go with your granddaughter and mother- in-law? I think it's great that you are still on such good terms with your (ex) mum-in- law after all these years!
