Thanks for the hints. I now have the theme and just need to tidy up the remaining clues. TEA uncharacteristically didn't give 1 across in the Edited English section though it was in the unedited section, which I don't always check.

Yes, I have a full grid now with the help of your hint and the text of the poem. I have all the words from their jumbles but I still have to work out how some of the clues work. Thanks
