Thanks, Orson - I managed to get that and I've got the whole thing just about finished off now.

Can anyone put me right on 33d, exotic money, money involving unknown quantities repeatedly 5 letters -I have ??IYN which can' t be right and I am getting cross. 30across is also evading me because I have not got the first letter due to the preamble. Help please!

33 D - your letters so far are correct! Think of a three-letter word for 'money', used a lot in crosswords +include 2 'unknowns' (you've got 1 already).

30 A is simpler than it seemed at first. You just need a three-letter word for 'shot' (photograph) and a four-letter word, v common, for 'final'. 'Sculptor' isn't a person!

Just got the coin as I stopped posting, and thanks for 30a. That was one of my ideas, but I must have 25d wrong, and 32a. Put me out of my dilemma, Malone. You usually do.
