I'm off to the for my 6-monthly check by the eye specialist very early in the morning. Methinks I may arrange to have my other cataract done. Dunno when I'll get home, Decided to present my wee puzzle tonight before bed. Hope not too easy. Enjoy! J

I set clues just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few? Since they're new, no letters!

Just a quick look before going out for the, helping tidy a friend's garden in advance of a garden open - not even our garden! - above and beyond, I call it.

I'm pretty sure of the last two words of #1, but struggling to find a suitable 4,4 to go before.

I'll print them off and take them with me for the trip. I probably won't be back for the reveal anyway, so I'll check later.

Just thought of two possible words to complete #1. Not sure if they are the right ones, though!

Hi ginge (an early bird indeed!),Les40 (welcome), Chrise (the kind-hearted gardener), Ari, Rossim and Jazzy. Just back from the hospital. All going well. Decided to have the second cataract removed and am now on the waiting list. Nice to see the clues causing a bit of bother :)
