hi all,
I am making no progress with this !!!!
Only just returned to it, and would really appreciate some directions to get me moving.
PLEASE !!!

Morning, dizoz! (or whatever time it is over there)

As nobody else has replied to your plea, here's all I've done so far.

I started by writing out all the possible letters and trying to make words from them. When I got 'crossword(s)' for the first word, I got all excited, but that didn't make sense with the clues. Now I think the first word is a number, and the next one is guessable knowing that. Haven't got the rest of it yet - only looked at it over breakfast and must now get down to some work.

Hi dizoz - I did what Livs did and got the sentence quite quickly - hints given so far correct and the last two words are again a number with a direction following. Hope this helps! PS I've only just started this and am really struggling - but having the sentence has helped no end so far.

I didn't even try to get the sentence early on. I got about half of the answers first then wrote the letters I had in a string and the sentence all but leapt out.

just got back onto this. got the message (think it is a number of ans that need what is in 1 in particular) .
don't know what that 1 ans is. only got about 4 ans.
frustrated!!! any help would be appreciated.

Give some clues that you need help with.
Have you got 12a - that one is the "key"

(3,7). nautical is redundant, I think.

sex changes

so you need to change the F(female) to M (male) or vice versa in 10 of your answers .
1st letter of 14a/14d will count as 2 of the changes

row = exchange , inside SS(ship)
