My stitches are gone now, I have some awesome scars. The bruising is all but gone. And generally things are looking up. I have made it policy to ignore all the doctors advice throughout my ordeal and just get on with things.Its not like i have a lifetime in front of me. All the best you know the rest....Cheers!

Good to see things are improving. I now have the other 2 and #3 very nice; my favourite.

The other ones occurred to me while climbing a tree. Clever. This site is still hard to get onto, but I'll try.

It was Prunus serotina. The poor thing was dead and had to be taken down piecemeal. The most beautiful wood imaginable (I have a kitchen counter made of it). Wonderfully fragrant firewood.

Sounds like the sort of fun i usually enjoy (Bloody plaster casts)
