Looks challenging, ixion. I see only 2, 3, and 5 right off, but will get back to it later. Do you ever sleep?

Nice to see you Aristo and Trevor...

I should probably point out that the answer to 1. doesn't appear using onelook.com (though 4. and 7. surprisingly do) and non UK solvers may not be aware of the "bootiful" range.
6. requires knowledge of the theme to understand the definition part.

Hi Ixion.
Being a "daft ozzie" only #2 came straight to mind.
Thanks for the heads up on 4 & 7.
I'll google "bootiful", but suspect I will get no further :-)
cheers

Ps: Even though we refer to our country as "Oz" we call ourselves "Aussie" :-)

I have missed your themed clues, ixion.

Can only do #2 at the moment. Working on the final clue

Hi Busby...Chambers gives Ozzie as a alternative spelling and that (very loosely) fits better with the theme.

Hi Rosalind

These are tricky if you don't recognise the theme and I suspect the subject of the anniversary might be more of a "bloke" thing.
