[I]Good morning friends. Hope the week went well. Here are today's clues. I feel they may be a bit more difficult than usual BUT am usually proved quite wrong in my assumptions. Hope you enjoy the challenge. J[/I]

I set clues just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few? Since they're new, no letters!

3. Chanting “pax vobiscum” has its charms (4)

4. Entertainment involving weapons point to an anagram? (5,5)

5. Guarded enquiry from health body extends to that place? (3,4,5)

Hi ginge, busby and Chris. Thanks busby for your kind remarks. Ginge, I wouldn't take my comments too seriously. I've always been proved quite wrong when commenting on difficulty. I mustn't be tempted in future. I'm off out to the nearest village now.
