Still need help please, answers are all trees - number of letters not known.
1 In return, go in tree.
2 Leave out wee small statue.
3 Happy about missing the first daffodil for example.
4 Boris dismisses alternative. (Bis, suggested earlier, is not a proper tree)
5 The way teachers choose to go, by the sound of it.
6 Goes to window in front of office to signal to witness.
7 Goes to bar on break and on to house and grounds.

I'd been wondering about my suggestion(bis) for no 4! sorry it wasn't any good! will be interested to know when you do get the answer!!!

I am new to Crossword Solver and started a new thread as I assume people stop looking at old ones after a few days unless they are personally interested in the thread. Do you know if this is so?

Hi dianthus. You can "reply to post" on your original thread and this will then bring it to the front page again.

Whenever a new response is added to a thread, the thread is automatically "bumped up" to the top of the list, so the curious may well look at it again.

It is neater to try to keep related questions on the same thread.

Sorry not to have replied earlier, dianthus!We've been out for most of the day. I'm relatively new to the forum, too, but chrise and jazzgirl seem to have answered your query. I'm trying it out now by pressing the reply tag in the message, rather than the 'Add Reply' at the bottom- We'll see what happens......

either method - 'add reply' or 'reply to this post' - will put the thread back to the top of the forum.

when you use 'Add Reply' you will see the original question that was asked, as you type your reply.

when you use 'reply to this post' you will see the content of that particular post as you type your reply.
