S + E + W + E + N + S (directions). SEWENS. Sewen = Irish name for sea-trout grisle. Can also be spelt sewin but the "I" is a problem then.

I had intended to save some of this to do later but I've never been good at deferred gratification so......
Favourite clue 62ac, made me laugh. I may have to wrap parcels or something next Thursday, boo hiss.

I've really enjoyed doing this but am in danger of falling at the final hurdle! I have a full grid and I know the original title of the carol I've to highlight - but am unsure how to find the new title. Are the four words scattered throughout the grid?

Thanks for any advice.

Chips: if you mean the 6th carol title, I don't see how you can know it in advance, but it's all together in one very long straight line in the grid --- so where must it be? I presume you have the other 5 anagrammed ones already, so congratulations!

GK, thanks - will have another look at the grid! (I got the title from the initials that were left after taking the other titles out of 'CUT BACK...)
