Another update:13 of the 16 possible votes have now been cast, atheos, imagcq and busby have yet to indicate their preference.

At this stage, paul @2 on 4 leads aristo @4 and BBM2 @22 both on 3.
chrise @9, stevez @16 and jws @33 all have 1 vote.

Back again soonish, hopefully with the result.

Yet another week with superb clues displaying the full range of devices usually seen in the best crosswords.
I have had to make an extremely difficult decision between paul @2 and  aristo @4  who both polled 4 votes and voted for each other's clue! Sorry paul,  I have a marginal preference for aristo's delightful;

In relation to this week's Clueless "prize"  from one extreme to the other or perhaps from the sublime to the ridiculous is more appropriate but I hope you find this short example of "teamwork" amusing:

Don't worry Neil, I had a marginal preference for Aristos as well! Thanks for setting. I thought it was quite challenging so was really impressed with the general standard of entries!
