Thank you so much for your warm comments which, I have to say, made me feel very humble. I do know that there's a dearth of Caravaggios [or Caravaggii, I suppose, to be strictly correct] in this country and I believe that the National Gallery has the monopoly but, as you're aware, the galleries do lend one another various paintings from time to time.

I have only just returned home, so could not reply until now.
Caravaggio: Sadly, none of my photos could be classed as "stunning". But I did manage a few lucky captures of the red deer during the annual rut in September. I have used one of them for my Christmas cards.( Makes a change from robins) :) x
