Good afternoon friends. Sorry for being late. Got a phone call to meet a contractor at our local church and had to 'run' down. Just home. Once again, I put these clues together a little hastily but, fingers crossed, they will be up to standard. Happy solving. J

I set clues just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few? Since they're new, no letters!

Hi jolan, glad to see you're still fit. I'm decorating and I found yesterday musing over imagcq's clues while at the top of a ladder helped so hopefully I'll get inspiration for 1,4 & 5 there as I got 2 & 3 on reading. Better get back to it, cheers.

I, too, can only see 2 + 3 so far, Jolan. Not in best condition since the Araucaria news. I think I'll leave it till answer time.

Hi again jolan, a quick cup of coffee. Love 5 it took a while for the penny to drop. I'm still working on 1 & 3 so extremely unlikely (again) to have solved them before the deadline but I'll persevere until I've got something before looking back in. Thanks again for the workout, back to the ladders.

Just in from Christmas shopping, jolan, so much too brain dead to even attempt solutions. I'll just admire the others.
