I think that may be to appeal to different abilities. Its a fundraising quiz for local village christmas lights and should appeal to a wide audience. Too tough and people wouldn't enter other than hardened quizzers I assume.

Sadly not. Its a local woman..she set one last year which was seaside related but I doubt shes a big quiz setter.

I'm surrendering on 9. madrob...I suspect an anagram of "gosh" or "mine" is involved in a synonym for walk but can't see it....please check back with the answer when you know it!
