Goodness, what a spread of votes among lots of excellent clues.

"can't see the mean boobs, and would like to." (Aristo). mmmmm

Evening all, sorry to be the last in but I've been at work.

Well, I have to say, what a great effort by all. I have read them all and short listed a few, my problem is that I'm having difficulty with part of the parse in aristo's clue and it would be unfair to choose a winner without fully understanding his work. I will give you what I have drawn from it but could you (aristo) or anyone else explain my unsure parts.

Admirable Roman who's in clearly marked burial place? (9

I have 'Admirable' as the Def
who = qui (in French) don't get the Roman?
clearly marked burial (if buried - then must be dead - so that gives 'EX' [hence the question mark])
place = site

I feel the Roman part is where I'm going wrong, please put me out of my misery

Hi Les my Latin is not that good and I ended up putting " qui est" into an online Latin to English translator and it came up with "who", if that helps.
