Qui is Latin who. Ex (X) site is place where X is, as on a map showing buried treasure (hence ginge's post).

Sorry I meant to add "x" marks the spot, so ex + site.

Cheers guys,
my mistake was that I only checked 'Who' with the Italian translate and not the Latin. I see it now

I do have 3 clues that are all worthy winners but I'm sticking with aristo's POST 13 because he 'got me good and proper'
Sorry Rosalind, you'll have to prise them apart this week

Agnus Dei qui tollis peccata mundi...

Les: I remember that you said you were reared RC, but I forget how young you are (post-Vatican II)!

My brother (7 years older than me) went to a Catholic College and his teachers were Catholic priests and I remember him talking about Latin. I, on the other hand was the first of the non-11 plus kids and went to a local comprehensive RC school where religion wasn't quite as prominent.

I'm so glad I wasn't reared by Catholic priests (Oh dear)

Four clues have 2 votes each. I haven't enjoyed chosing between you, but needs must. After a little help with the parsing and considerable thought, I have selected ginge #15 for his clever subtractive anagram

"Discerning qualities extol refinement but not to all".

My apologies to ixion, aristo and chrise.

The prize is in two parts. However it appears, the first is not rude and amusing to watch (pun not intended!) If you click on any part of the display it will switch from analogue to digital.

The second is a clip of two comedians I think are underated-

I remembered this from its original showing in about 1994 and it took a while to track down! Hope it doesn't offend anyone.

I'd like to explain my choice of "exquisite". It is top of the list made by a 14 year old girl who then lived in the cultural desert of Birkenhead. The page is headed "Beautiful words".

Congratulations, ginge! Many thanks to Rosalind; I enjoyed the art lesson. Also thanks to (the discriminating) ginge and Les, for the votes. Some great clues this week- not too many boobs among them.

Thanks rosalind for the word and the clips (love Punt and Dennis - I don't think there has ever been a better sitcom than "Outnumbered").

Congrats ginge - good clue.

Thanks for the votes, mrw and Penda.

If the recent trend continues it's a most dubious thank you for your casting vote rosalind but genuine thanks for hosting. As this week's voting shows no single clue stood out but lots of great entries so thanks for your votes SLH and aristo ( I hope I didn't confuse the parsing of your clue by my "qui est", it was just that I had to enter a phrase rather than a single word), particular commiserations to chrise, ixion and aristo.
