5 Carib?

Aristo, "weapon" is clearly correct but "baffle" (in Chambers as "frustrate, impede" (foil) and its use in windows and air movement looked to fit the bill as well.

And I would never call a Carib a brave; that's used for North American (especially Western) Indians. The Caribs are South American (and, of course, Caribbean).
