Anyone else keep getting a pop-up that says you have to watch a short video to access the content of this site? I have a pop-up blocker on my computer, but this has happened at least half a dozen times and I'm getting sick of it. I will not carry on using the site if it carries on. I know that the site uses adverts to generate income, but this is just intrusive.

Hello Sallyw, Some of the small ads around the edges suddenly pop up and fill half the screen. Isuppose I must be pressing something to activate this exciting feature. If I find out what it is, I shall stop pressing it.

I know that harbinger, but this is different. I'll try and do a screen grab and post it to show you if I can, but this is coming up without me moving my mous at all.

Can't show you but it says "to continue using Crossword Solver pelase watch a short sponsored video", followed by a choice of videos, and until you have watched at least part of a video (then there is an option to skip the rest of it), the site cannot be accessed, and it just keeps happening. Mightily irritating! :/

hi sallyw
I had problems with the adverts when using IE as browser, but since changing to Chrome, things have improved. Admin recommend Chrome or Firefox, but that kind of intrusive advertising should not be happening at all

I use Internet Explorer and do not have any problems with ads on this site. I don't use an ad or pop-up blocker.
