Still looking for the "boring insect" (which I'm sure it's not) ....................................................

I've got 1,2 and 5. The solutions have something in common. Would I be barking up the wrong tree if I was looking for this in 3 and 4 as well?

Thanks all for the good wishes. Had an OCT scan on the operated eye and the membrane over the macula is still there. The drops did not work. My sight in that eye is very good indeed and I was told that an op to remove the membrane is major surgery, It's not necessary if it's not causing a vision problem and it's not.
Although there's a cataract in my left eye too, it's not really noticeable except if I look at a candle flame, for example., I see three flames (three for the price on one, eh?). I asked if the membrane would possibly fade with time. The answer is no!

We decided to stop all eye drops and to leave well enough alone for both eyes. The specialist told me to return in 6 months for a look-see and any further decision can safely wait till then. I'm very happy with that.

I very seldom can get onto this site these days (it's the only site a have any sort of problem with), so I may not be able to post at 5:00.

I've tried to post this several times. I can only get onto the site a few times a day and then I lose it after a minute or so. I've tried changing browsers, etc. I may just give up soon.
