Thanks got that, have now changed the answers so I now have 51 Ps and 49 Qs so have gone wrong somewhere else. This could go on forever!!!

I have 49 P's and 50 Q's and number 46, which I cannot work out no matter how I try should, theoretically, start with a P............ and neither in my Chambers nor in Google can I find a reference to a triangle beginning with P!!

Ok so got page 1 sorted.

On page 2, my Ps are nos: 30, 33, 34, 36, 37, 39, 41, 42, 44, 46, 47, 51, 53, 55, 56, 58, 61, 62, 64, 66, 67, 68 and 70. The rest are Qs.

On page 3, my Ps are: 71, 74, 76, 7981, 82, 85, 89, 91, 92, 95, 98 and 99. The rest are Qs.

How does this match up with others?

Blaise PASCAL(which fits the clue was a mathematician famous among other things for Pascal's Triangle (a maths thing). also the name of a percussion instrument.

Harbinger you are absolutely brilliant!! If you only knew how many sleepless nights I have been trying to find that one. I did see Pascal several times but completely glossed over it as the text didn't seem to fit the clue. I now have 50 of each, many thanks!

I am going cross eyed Winnie. Missed out no 93 as beginning with P but for the life of me I don't know how I got the answer!

How do your Ps and Qs compare with mine for pages 2 and 3 (see my earlier post) ?
