Have just got up. Think today I'll have to distract myself (become distracted?) with the new Guardian Genius.Doctor's pills don't seem to be helping much. But then (as they always said in the Goon Show) "It's all in the mind, you know"...............

Sorry to hear about your ribs, GK. When my father broke his, we were charged on pain of immediate death not to tell any jokes or do anything funny. Didn't stop him smoking, though. Since I fell onto the wheelie bin I have stopped wearing toeless shoes or sandals and keep high heels for special occasions. I've hung onto bannisters going downstairs since my mother fell from top to bottom, as well.

Think you made the right decision Les. If there are 2 equally valid answers, there are 2 equally valid answers. I've only done 1 gatekeeper so far. I've answered another but can't place it yet.

Well that's a surprise congratulations GK not only in completing a grid and gatekeepers but for finishing. Hope your ribs improve soon I have heard it is very painful and difficult to get comfy:)

Oh if only Bobsmum hadn't retired to her boudoir early!!! I will have to accept the moral victory - if there are any in a Strumpets Boudoir - not that I am a bad loser :)

Well that will teach me not to go to bed at 10 o’ clock at night and not to be a proud possessor of a scanner. I wholeheartedly apologise ladies for this chronic oversight on my part.
RE, I was going to choose you to be my virtual slave for the week. I think you must consider yourself lucky that the ‘boudoir’ was broached by GK. I was really having great fun thinking up amusing tasks for you; not least the huge pile of virtual ironing that is waiting and having to construct a flat pack wardrobe using the instructions, as it seems, that, according to a recent report men will avoid reading instructions or asking for directions. However, it seems all my cunning plans and schemes were very short lived and are therefore, sadly not destined to come to fruition.

Congratulations to my fellow Legionnaire. I started this late last night, and have the top two blocks done except for four entries. I'm (not surprisingly) having a bit of trouble with the ladies.
