I've been no help to the girls I 'm afraid. I have finished 'Nom de plumes' but am really struggling with 'The Gatekeepers'.
I'm finding 'The Foreign Legion' the most difficult of the four grids, not helped by the fact that there isn't one of mine there for starters.

Assuming everyone agrees, then I would suggest you just go ahead & start asking about individual clues right away (tho' I have to go out for a time this morning myself).

AB has agreed to format the Wordplay file again which I thank him/her very much far because I will be sending 30 x A4 pages of email wordplay over for him/her to produce the finished article.
