Tony. Since I'm not the greatest solver alive, I've never attempted Azed. I assume the 'latent letter' clue answers are just meaningless letters? If so, I would not recognise what I belive to be a crossword puzzle.
Chrise. Perhaps a "?" might have been appropriate in thaqt clue. (or, maybe not). Methinks ab (Hi ab!) has seen the definition.

Yes, Jolan, I'm semi-vertical now. Got 3, 4, and 5 right off; have to think about 1 and 2. You didn't sneak in one of those foreign British terms, did you?
