Thanks, Paul - got it!!

Just 26 and 87 now to find. What am I looking for in No 87 - a name of a horse? or what... Can't seem to make any sense of the letters as given in the clue earlier.

Thanks Harty - I'll have a browse through the dictionary now for 87.

No 61 is first came to light with Genghis Khan - ancient land of Mongolia ? - and was the name of the horse ridden by General J Jackson - starts with a B. Used to buy them to chew when I was a kid! (a VERY long tome ago, mind!)

And Paul, I realised what No 6 was as soon as Harty gaveme the clue. Many thanks to you both. any chance of No. 26, while you're at it? lol

Sorry rinklees, don't have the quiz. I thought you were asking for 6 and had mistyped. What is the clue for 26? Have solved 87 if you are interested.

I did need No. 6 and you helped.

No. 26 is "chamber is cracked as head goes through it" (7)

And yes, it has a horse theme.
Any further help willbe much appreciated.
