Maybe GROTESQUE - Fantastic
with a ? instead of QUE (question)

The ? would fit the end of the quotation.

Rosie - I liked 'grotesque' and took it a bit further...
If 39 is 'quoters' and 10 D is 'gyre', this can be anagrammed to give Grotesquery - and this would equal 'fantasticality'
Does this sound logical?

GYRE + QUOTERS anag = GROTESQUERY, with QUERY written as "?" to complete the quotation.
