Personally, I think the thread's gone tits up!

this only seems to happen when non alphanumeric characters are used in the title of the thread and the thread gets to a 2nd page.
not sure if é is included here.
Apart from that it seems quite random - can't predict it - sometimes doesn't balls up anyway.
