Very good, ixion- even though you're still persona non grata. Sorry I was late to the dance.

Very well done everyone, especially Ixion for a great puzzle. Sorry my contribution was so meagre - I'll try harder next week! Would NEVER had got Tess - I was working on H being short for heroine.

When you're wrong, you're wrong, aren't you!! It's a failing of mine to get fixated on one way of solving something.

Just kidding, old boy. I was ever so pleased with my homage to peterm- shaving "whiskers" off a "cheeks" phrase to leave "moustache". And we Yanks do NOT all have big butts, though they perhaps tend to spread on those long flights to Europe. I am six-four and of Nordic build (pastille's type, I would imagine).

And it's not funny, trevor! Some people can't help it. The devil makes them stop at every McDonald's in sight.
