Hello again, trevor. Clue was: Cheeks show a truism: shaving whiskers recasts image of masculinity. You drop the letters of whiskers from cheeks show a truism and you're left with the letters of moustache recast.

Missed out on the fun again this week - ingenious, as ever. I logged in early on, and got barging and grained quite quickly, but then had to go out for most of the afternoon. Still not clear what the "undefined six letter word" is all about. May have missed something when going through the thread.

Maybe not well worded in my preamble...just meant that the six letter words don't have a definition in the clue...ie rained and baring are cryptically indicated but the definition part is for Grained and barGing
