Last few I am struggling with...feeling really thick over thes..
Q31 - but the mate has stowed away the contents of this vessel (5)
Q53 - Ashley provided accommodation for recluses (5)
Q89. These rascals ran off to sea (7)
Any hints/clues would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance fellow puzzlers.

Trevor I should have stayed up an extra 15 minutes last night! 18 Episcopal seat was ruined in the last flood (9) I put the obvious answer for episcopal seat but not sure where the last flood comes in. Radar 53 I have put the word which is a cluster of cells for monks and recluses, not sure where Ashley comes in.....certainly can't be Ashley Cole although many think that's where he should be! 89 Think Gilbert and Sullivan Still unsure of my answer to 31 have put something which is also the name of a river in Ireland but still very doubtful about this. Help somebody please!!

If it's the answer I'm thinking of it's an anagram of "last flood"

AB Thanks you, still haven't got the anagram but will keep trying. Any thoughts on my query about 31 and 53? Peanut 23 Concentrate on other meanings for the first word which gives the complete answer. First 2 letters give the French bit but the whole word should leave you fizzing!

Radar Maybe my hints were a bit difficult to understand.....53 Google hermits and that should give you the word where they reside, also recluses or even monks.

Radar Also, for 89, Gilbert and Sullivan, one of the nautical ones contains a song with the clue sentence in it
