Well done, Geting. Thanks for hosting, Jono.

Well done as well to Mattrom, for receiving same amount of votes as the winner.

Many thanks to Raffles, Amej, and Poulet for the votes, and to Chrise for the mention. Very much appreciated!

Congrats geting and thanks jono.

I've been to the pencil museum in Keswick. Pencils were an important industry there because graphite was mined in the hills south of the town.

Commiserations Mattrom, I thought your clue was very good.
Thanks for your vote, and also those from Chris, Tyke, Spike and Darla.
Thank you Jono for hosting and the prizes. The drawing one was very beautiful; I envy people with that talent

nice one(s) geting and mattrom, Geting I liked your wordplay but the somewhat ahistorical nature of the surface swung me over to mattrom's clue (then again I am not an archeologist so perhaps a 4 million year old pencil has recently been discovered).

Thanks jon for hosting.
