I contacted them and it is fair. All the entries are gathered on the Friday after midday. They then pick one at random and check it. All correct? Winner! If not, pick again. I asked this after I was getting a delay in my delivery and thought it unfair that someone could complete the xword on a Wednesday and have their entry in before mine came on a Friday.

Regeff, thanks for that. I think that message first appeared during Covid, because of people working from home, and then stayed on. I don't like emailing from my phone, it's far too fiddly for my sausage fingers.
