I don't have points in 5 or 8. Mine are in 3,4,7,10 and 11.

I think I had one rogue col and a reflection that I counted there. Sorry.

Went to bed with no idea what was going on. Flash of inspiration this morning and all done in ten minutes. Very nice comstruction, but I found some of the clueing a bit convoluted.

Only loose end for me is why do we have 'out of date' in 19a? Clue seems to work without it and it's not an archaic word as far as I can see.

SH, 'out of date' refers to 'look'. In Chambers as an archaic word.

Ah yes, of course. I'm so used to that being used without the out of date that I forgot about that. Thanks.

It's just occurred to me that my parsing of 15 across was incomplete. I think it's an anagram of 'take' (one letter), 'it', 'a' and the first letter of 'salt'.

Your slightly incomplete version was enough to get me over the line, thanks

Stuck on parsing 29A and 6D.
Could someone offer tips?

Oldwolfie,
29a def. is 'Old illuminated'. 'sign up' (6) minus a 1-letter abbreviation.
6d. def.is 'Protestors', with a misprint. Wordplay is 'wounded' (3) inside two 1-letter abbreviations.
