There's an obvious Viz word that fits your letters in the first one, but I've no idea about the Horatian reference.

chris, Google says "Horatian" is associated with "same-sex attraction".

The clue reads: 'horatio' - makes all the difference 😁

Thanks all, so obvious now. I’ve spent all week on it whittling down the answers but couldn’t see for looking with those three.

I know raffles likes a wrong answer, and I originally had for 2d victor needs a drink, a c*nt, winner. From Victor = winner and the c word may be related to the late food critic, and needs a drink , wine.

In xword notation ambassador is known as HE ( his excellency) and I have O??? - can only think of oche in darts . I’m completely stuck on 2dn ?A?I?? - any help appreciated

Ahhh got them but just realised i haven’t got 3 dn ‘Feeshus rammed into bush it exploded’ (5) ?h?t?

It exploded i assume means the letters I and T are included and disordered and feeshus means excrement but i can’t parse it… maybe ‘shite?’
