I've got Expel) - mainly because it fitted (I had E?PEL). Oh, I see it now - there is/was a six letter Ace, clever person.... the Right turns to left and it's short, only five letters.

Sorry to be so needy this week...just can't see cannot see which letter goes in the box marked 14. If anyone can clarify either 14a or 14d I'd be very happy

In another note, I really enjoyed this one, but the shape I ended up with is topical, but not the shape we’re expecting if that makes sense. Have I missed something?

A belated thank you to those who helped me yesterday. I had to take a break.

I came up with a three letter curse around a two letter amphibian corps with an r at the end to get a squirmer as the answer. I hope it's right! My shape was not entirely satisfactory either but that could be down to my execution.

I'm still not sure about the four letters to form the shape. I've got everything else.

I just drew the expected shape. So long as it’s “passing through the four cells” I don’t think there is any need to make it the minimal connection.
