Good Sunday. I hope one of you is awake and has the link to the PDF for the puzzle.
It's my Saturday night treat which I hope doesn't sound too pathetic. (:

"Teach a man to fish" and all that ...
Ethereal, what problems are you having getting to the link yourself? Granted the Observer site is a bit temperamental, but I've got it to work pretty much every week with a bit of tinkering, along the lines of
- Clear browser cache and cookies OR start up an incognito window

- Go to Puzzles / Everyman / Latest puzzle
- If the previous weeks puzzle is the latest available, copy the URL and add one.
- Once loaded, go to the Print button. That's where you'll find the PDF.

Thanks Jono. And Plutocrats next week I'll check again for how to print.

Very tricky today, I thought, with several clues requiring considerable head scratching. All became clear in the end though ... with one exception: 4d. Can anyone explain how 'Here skeletons may descend from on high' has anything to do with the answer? It's got me completely baffled.
COD 23a, which raised a smile ... and prompted a listen of Legend!

Phil10000, in 4d. the skeletons are involved in an activity on the snowfields. May otherwise be called bobs.

A great one today, slightly harder than usual and very satisfying except for 4d, only because I asked my husband for help and he got it immediately!
Some really nice clues including 25a 7d and 11d.
Need to get out in the sunshine now.
Thanks all.
