Can't get parsing for 7d.
Have done endgame task as far I can....but no penny drop. Is the question 4,2,2,4,1,1? That's what I have!

7d has extra letter and parses moderator's/ closure of chatroom thwarting revolutionary poet/ before/ instigation of riot

Plus many other letters, not sure why.

Can't parse 39. Seems like the wordplay is the last 5 words, but for some reason I can't see it.
