Agree that this was definitely on the easier side but no less enjoyable for it. Lots of very fun clues, and a satisfying PDM at the end. Thank you Opsimath!

Well Im struggling with the first letter of 37 - I cannot see a way in to this clue although the missing letter is obvious from the message - and a hint to the theme too please - As said somewhere else the writer has 14 letters so Im assuming it's not him

'Prime' refers to numbers, 2, 3, 5 etc. The definition is the first word. The writer is who you would expect if you have the message correct: first and second name.

Having solved this puzzle (and no more than 10 before it) and reflected on the comments, I have this to say if you wish to know. I am very pleased with having finished this puzzle, as I am with every Listener I've completed. I acknowledge this means it is an easier listener and that some people will be vexed by this. I ask them to reflect on their first solves and whether they would have engaged with this puzzle if every week it was as impenetrable as it can sometimes be. I look forward to the challenge and joy of solving such puzzles soon, and long should they remain.
I proffer that "introductory" puzzles are a good thing every so often (and I agree these could benefit from being marked as such) so that new would be solvers have a way in, as I'm sure everyone here has had at some point.
Well done to Opsimath, I thought the end game was, although mostly signposted, cleverly done and the subsition neat.
I am intrigued to hear opinions about the messaging (line 8) and to whom that is directed.
Re the title, as I've seen some commentary on it, I note something interesting amidst the first line of the grid and wonder if anyone has spotted any other references.

Surely it is 13 letters not 12?

Never occurred to me to check, but I would have to agree with you Hounds.

I should have said 14, but as two of the letters do not require changing then 12 would be correct - apologies to Opsimath.

Hounds and Jono, I looked it up and the last two letters of the first name are ie. Hope this isn’t considered a spoiler.
