And I forgot to say well done on completing it!

Frog, I second Quisling's comments. I am relatively new, and the only thing more dispiriting than seeing 'done' posts a few hours after release is struggling through to completion only to find people grumbling about the ease! Don't be disheartened. The slogging pays off over time.

I noticed the message. A few thematic words and phrases in the grid, too.

A quick Google would be worthwhile unless you’re very familiar with the theme.

Thanks HW7, I knew what I had to do but couldn't see where to do it. However, I do now and I have completed the grid. I was a little concerned about one of my answers, but the end game resolved that for me.

I don't know whether any of the setters follow this thread, but if they do, I hope that they do not take offence when puzzles are criticised. Even the simplest of puzzles takes a lot of effort to compile and although I have to agree that this was easier than some, it still provided me with a few hours of fun. Thanks Opsimath and keep up the good work!

I’m quite happy to see an easier Listener occasionally - it leaves more spare time ar the weekend for one thing. The only thing I can’t work out here is the significance of the title (I expect it’s staring me in the face!)

Yes it was a quick solve - nice for the newbies to cut their teeth on, I enjoyed it and thought the endgame was very clever. Thanks Opsimath.
