I'm not happy with that one. My answer parses, but the definition is a major stretch.

Nicola re 21d: 'coming' as in 'yet to happen'.
Agree with all the 19d comments. I whiled away ten minutes looking for the necessary definition of shrink. Think it's fair to say that Everyman's got this one wrong.
Enjoyed the matching pair.

I’ve found support for shrinking or shrinks as reversal indicators in the sense (I believe) of draw back / retreat.
They are also listed in the Clue Clinic’s database of reversal indicators which is pretty tight on such matters though by no means definitive.

I wrote in 19 last night w/o any idea of parsing. Although it escaped me, I've no problem with the reversal indicator.

Same as Geeker with regard to 19.

24a - 4 letter synonym for "learned" (as in 'well read' etc.) reversed/'upset' goes inside 2 letter abbr. for "outsize" again reversed/'upset'
