I keep meaning to order his book which he mentioned on the crossword page some months back. I asked for a copy at Christmas but my request fell on 42A.

well I have all the unclued lights except for the 3 crossing (32,35,41) but still no clue about how they link together or what the "source" is ....

32 goes with 30, 35 goes with 28 and 41 goes with 16.
I believe 23 is the one exception to the primary source.
The title of the puzzle is a time signature…
