Quite tricky, I thought, but in the end it didn’t take too long, and was a pleasant challenge. Clever theme running through both the clues and the solutions too. Nice one, Boatman.
FOI 6, LOI 29, where the solution was obvious but the parsing took me a while.
COD? I liked 24.

I struggled with this, never got on the wavelength. Mistakenly reversed wordplay in 13d, which cost a lot of time.

FOI 19d, LOI 3.
Needed Google for one unfamiliar acronym.

No clear COD, but candidate list includes 1d (on which a misdirection error cost time), 11, 4, 17, 10, 18, 19d.

Acronym is new to me, too. Verified with Google.

I generally tend not to pick exclusively GK based clues as favs. Good wordplay and surface are necessary. That's just me. In that sense, I have 22a also as contender for COD along with 17a.

What am I missing in 12a? There's only one answer from my crossers but I can't see any parsing. Help me find my pdm please.

Dobby, in 29a, put a 3-letter word meaning 'every' before the answer.

I don't know why I bother with Boatman - he always irritates. I don't think he always plays fair; often very loose synonyms used (e.g. in 11a).

Five unparsed, but I'm not sufficiently interested to ask for help.
