In questions like 41, normally each sign would be used once, but you only have three question marks. Is that correct?

45. The question asks for the straight line distance travelled by the stylus (not the distance in the grooves) so it is just the total radius of 15cm minus the outer and inner distances of 0.5 and 5 cm, giving 9.5cm. The groove spacing is not relevant.

Sorry, it should read, 3?7?5?4?3, i was trying so hard not to mistype, & I did just that,

3 + 7x5 - 4/3 = 36.67
