I'd go for Lamplight, gentle radiation. Lam = escape and Plight = hole, problem etc.

Prm73, thanks - glad I could help. 'Lam' was fairly new to me too. Chambers says: 'Lam, noun, escape or hurried flight, esp from the police.'

"On the lam" is a more familiar expression.

ChrisE, thanks for that. I'd always thought that phrase meant something else - on a bender, on the rampage, something like that!

The word 'tea', - without it's ends, is 'e'.

I think the P could be for gentle, (as in pianissimo).
