I found Everyman a bit tricky. I've never heard of 22a, but that probably dates me. Had a smile at 9d. and 14d.

On the difficult side for Everyman.
22 was also unknown to me. I guessed the answer (clearly anagram) from crossers but had to Google to verify.

I did not think 22a was an anagram? Isn’t it a word for unsettle, a word for sundry and one for squares? I agree this was tricky but some nice clues.

Sorry, you're right. 22 not an anagram. I had put away the solution (on paper) and forgot. I could make a good guess from the wordplay.

That’s curious, 22a was a write in for me on the first pass with no crossers. It must be very British thing, though not something you hear now. I’d probably associate it with the 80/90s.

I wasn’t sure if it would be Azed today. He’s announced he will no longer set Competition puzzles but will continue with Plain ones for as long as he can. He’s effectively retiring in stages.

Just a quicky. Is the address for submission of the Azed the same as that for the Gemelo ie Berners Street?

Enjoyed this today (after small problems getting in, I had to sign in to see the puzzle).

Just about suitable level of difficulty for me.

22a has left me with images of Ricky Gervais (David Brent) in the Office, which I can't get out of my mind now :)

Lots of fun today, I thought - loved 1A and especially 14D.
I'm just a little unsure of 18D, which doesn't quite seem to parse fully. Are the first three letters really a 'school for doctors', and do the last three really equate to 'AmericaN'? Or am I on the wrong track?
