How often do you see "hair-brained" rather than "hare-brained"?

Also, authors (and editors) need to revise the difference between "I" and "me" (subject/object). It's another I've come across too often recently.

From the BBC website:

"It was a remarkable conclusion to a thrilling contest at Alexandra Palace, with two-time winner Higgins, who appeared to be down and out when he trailed 5-3, recieving a huge ovation after wrapping up a 6-5 triumph."

Have they not heard of spellcheckers? "Recieving"?

The apostrophe in the thread title is causing the &amp thing.
Prior experience is that the thread will fall over at some point. It might be better to start again with a clean thread title.
