I think I have the unclued entries sorted out, though I am not convinced of my entry for 29a.
I do not have Brewers, sadly, so a hint for this would help me .

I would also like your help for
43A I had a tool for caller ID(5)
The only answer I can come up with is an American state ????

Hi Fred, the reference in 29 a is to an Army regiment.

43a is the US state. It’s a homophone “I had a (garden) tool”. (groan)
