32A “a sewing about covers us all here especially those who wear blue shirts” - we are stuck on this last one. Does anyone have any thoughts?

There was Seamount Maternity Home in Salthill. Tom Kenny has an article on it

32a, I have no local knowledge at all, as you can tell, but “a sewing” is an anagram of “Wegians”, which is the nickname of the Galwegians RFC. They wear blue shirts and are known as the “boys in blue”

38 looks like MATE (hidden), but I can't explain it

I think there was an old pub there called the Genoa, which would fit with knowledge, gen, + o a (old age)
